Understanding GameSphere Billing and Proration
Learn how upgrades, downgrades, and proration work when managing your GameSphere hosting subscriptions.
Managing your server resources shouldn't be confusing. At GameSphere, we believe in transparent, fair billing. Here is how our billing system handles changes to your active services.
What is Proration?
Proration means you only pay for exactly what you use. If you are halfway through your monthly billing cycle and decide to upgrade your server to a plan with more RAM, you will not pay the full price of the new plan immediately.
Instead, the system calculates the unused value of your current plan, applies it as a credit, and charges you only the difference for the remaining days in the cycle.
How to Upgrade Your Server
- Navigate to the Billing section in your GameSphere dashboard.
- Select the active service you want to upgrade.
- Click Upgrade/Downgrade.
- Select your new plan. The system will display the prorated cost due today.
Note: Server upgrades are entirely seamless. Your files and IP address remain exactly the same. The server will just automatically restart to apply the new hardware limits.
Cancellations and Refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time to prevent auto-renewal. The server will remain active until the end of your paid billing period. We also offer a 72-hour money-back guarantee for all new orders if the service does not meet your expectations.
